35th Milo Marathon - I Qualified

My 35th Milo Marathon Race Result

The wait is over.. and it cannot be any sweeter than this!!!
All those 2011 running mileage.. 1000+ kilometers of them..
All those 7 months of training.. running, boxing, strength training and core drills..
All those painful memories of the previous attempt.. eliminated in Milo 2010..
All those prayers and support from all of you guys.. thank you very much!

I really feel like crying now.. This is just great.

    Great job parekoy! All that hard work paid off, finally! :)

    3:43:57 translates to around 5:18 per km average pace. HUWAW ang lupit mo pre! Maka-5:18 ako sa 1000m interval training eh masaya na ako, pero do it 42 freakin' times?!?!! Halimaw ka!!! Hehehehe...

    Thanks Roelle. Hard work does pay off. :) Lalu na nung last 9 or 10km na lang.. Yun talaga yung pinakamahirap na stage eh. Maraming salamat! Hope to see you again soon!

    Thanks Daves.. natawa ko sayo nung nandun ka malapit sa hydration station sa Vicente Sotto road.. last 4 kilometers.. sabi mo "Oh!".. Hehe. Nagulat ka nandun pa lang ako after mga 3:20 hours. Eh 3:20 dapat yung target finish time ko.

    Pero sabi mo den agad, after looking at your Garmin.. "Go! Go! Go!, kaya pa yan." Hehe. Thanks for the cheer and the support! Maraming Salamat.

    Hi Regz. Thanks! All the glory and honor belongs to the Lord. I would not be able to finish the marathon and all the training runs without the joy and motivation of serving Him. Ingat lagi. Maraming salamat sa pagbisita at pagcomment. :)

    Naiiyak nga ako.. nung 7 minutes na lang at 1+ kilometer pa.. gusto ko ng umiyak kasi mukhang nde na ako aabot sa 3:45 qualifying time.. Tapos nung natapos na malapit sa 3:44 hours.. gusto ko naman umiyak kasi natapos ko to enter the Finals. Hehehe. Just a great experience.
