And more disappointments follow.
My casio was about right at 1:20:07, I saw my Bib Number timed at 1:20:08. However, my name was "Unknown" and I was not listed on the 10Mile list of finishers. As a runner, seeing my name on the finishers' list is just about all I wanted as an official documentation of what I have worked so hard for. Unknown? Not on the 10Mile list? I'm sorry Botak, I would have to retract from my statement that the Botak Race was the best race that I have ever joined so far.
My Bib number is 3765, I am ranked 395th with a finish time of 1:20:08.
I could not believe it. Please not this one. Not this race. It has been my longest and fastest race. Why screw me on this one Botak? Why?
Apparently, I am not the only one named "Unknown". There were about 120+ runners listed as "Unknown" out of 615 runners (both 5 and 10 Miles). And what was supposed to be a 33rd place 10-Mile finish (out of 170+ Male 10-Mile finishers), I was listed as finisher #395 out of all the runners on that race. All runners meaning 10Milers and 5Milers, male and female.
Just have to forget this one, the Rota '09 Half Marathon is just a few weeks away.
